The Story So Far...

"I am very small, and I have no money, so you can imagine the kind of pressure I am under"
-John Mulaney

I've had a maker's spirit long before I knew the words "iterative design." As a kid, my dad and I would build (and crash) model rockets and RC planes, and on a few occasions he would bring home junk PCs from the office for me to take apart just to see how they were built. My earliest passion in the world of engineering was aerospace, and on weekends throughout middle school my parents would drop me off at a small landing strip on Long Island where I would help hobbyist pilots work on their prop planes, oftentimes earning myself a seat at the controls for an end of day joyride.

I attended the Bronx High School of Science and Duke University, where I got my BSE in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. In my free time I was a part of various project teams, making world championship qualifying robots, record setting electric vehicles, and high powered rockets. On late nights and weekends I did a wide variety of personal projects to push my limits and learn; a fraction of those projects are exhibited on this site.

I currently lead the team responsible for machining SpaceX's Raptor engine turbopumps in Hawthorne CA.
